It’s super simple- just do nothing and BE with myself for 90 seconds. The rule is to let myself feel ANY emotion that comes up and do nothing to distract myself.
I actually did just that after writing that last sentence. Until I took those uninterrupted 90 full seconds ( I count “one chimpanzee” or “two one thousand” ) I had no idea how wound up I felt. My stomach and shoulders relaxed, my brain stopped whirring and worrying.
