I HATE crunches. They are worse than the F word. In fact I often say them together; ” F’ ing Crunches ” that’s how much I hate them
We’ve all done them. And why not!
We see hard bodied tough people doing them in the movies, our gym teachers taught them to us and we probably saw our parents crunching away as well.
Crazy thing is those crunches don’t do shit for you. Pardon my french, but It’s totally true. Plus they really piss me off. Mostly because I myself wasted years doing this ridiculous move.
Heck I was taught them by my super fired up track coaches, countless body pump and yoga teachers, my dad used to do them. They all had one thing in common, screwed up backs and a slight belly pooch (sorry dad). I don’t blame them, they just didn’t know better.
